Iran is marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.<br /><br />Thousands joined celebrations in the capital, Tehran, waving flags and portraits of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.<br /><br />President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad used the occasion to hail the country's technological achievements.
